1980's Garden Kit Poster

Designed to highlight Takenobu Igarashi’s Garden Kit, this poster has “1980’s” emblazoned across the top with color-blocking and modular design directly inspired by the various garden instruments and the minimalism of the Japanese graphic style in the Late Modern period. A black background provides a stark contrast from the bright, complimentary colors, and simple off-white text provides background information about Igarashi’s work and the characteristics of the Japanese graphic style in the 1980’s.
